Romeo's Love for Juliet

"But soft! What light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief,
That thou, her maid, art far more fair than she.
Be not her maid since she is envious.
Her vestal livery is but sick and green,
And none but fools do wear it. Cast it off!
It is my lady. Oh, it is my love.
Oh, that she knew she were!
She speaks, yet she says nothing. What of that?
Her eye discourses. I will answer it.—
I am too bold. 'Tis not to me she speaks.
Two of the fairest stars in all the heaven,
Having some business, do entreat her eyes
To twinkle in their spheres till they return.
What if her eyes were there, they in her head?
The brightness of her cheek would shame those stars
As daylight doth a lamp. Her eye in heaven
Would through the airy region stream so bright
That birds would sing and think it were not night.
See how she leans her cheek upon her hand.
Oh, that I were a glove upon that hand
That I might touch that cheek!"

This quote is from Romeo Montague, and is very well known.  He was overheard saying all of this to his supposed, but very controversial, girlfriend, Juliet Capulet.  Whether all of that controversy is true or not, it's still a very mushy thing to say, and while it is well known, most people have a hard time understanding what he really means!
So when he supposedly said all of this, he was looking up at Juliet's window (what a creeper, right?) and he suddenly saw the light in her room turn on.  He compared her to the sun, saying that since the light in her room was in the east, Juliet must be the sun rising.  He was being so sweet, but the next thing he said was that she should kill the moon, and the moon is a figure meaning virginity!  What a pervert! He went on to talk about how her virginity is jealous, and that she should get rid of it!  (Obviously he meant to himself!)  After that, you have to give him credit, he did go back to being really sweet, talking about how he loves her and how thought she was not talking to him, he will speak to her eyes, which he said are like twinkling stars.  He even said that though her eyes were like stars, her cheeks were even brighter than stars!  He's so lovey-dovey it's almost hard to believe!  But he went on to say how her eyes, being such bright stars, would light up the whole night if they really were stars in the sky, making birds think it was daytime.  And finally, he noticed her resting her cheek on her hand, which had a glove on it, and yearned to be that glove so that he could touch her cheek.
I don't know about you, but I think this Romeo boy went a little overboard on the infatuation level.  Maybe he's a really sweet boy who is truly in love, and maybe he's a creepy perv who was a thing for eyes and cheeks.  Who knows?!
